We offer our clients several amenities which provides first rate care for the horse and convenience for the owner. Our facility is currently comprised of one 5 stall barn and our sub-divided property can accommodate up to 6 horses comfortably. Our barn contains a lockable tack room with plenty of space for your onsite storage needs. There is a cross tie in the breezeway for prepping your horse for riding, grooming, farrier & vet visits. The breezeway runs north to south keeping the barn airy & the horses cool during hot weather. Spacious pastures offer plenty of green grass as turnout for the horses. There is plenty of room to ride on the property and there are trails at nearby Lake Lavon. Only 5 minutes north of Dunham Stables. Click here for more information. We have large pond.
Dunham Stables offers full-care boarding. The facility owner lives on the premises, so horse owners can be assured that their horses are checked often and that the horse’s care is top priority. Stalls are 10 x 10 up to 10 x 12 with solid wood walls and wood chip padding for a comfortable stall. Each stall has sliding doors which are wood below and railing above. Horses are fed two times a day with the owner’s choice of oats, sweet feed or pellets. Hay is provided at each feeding. Stalls are mucked daily, and horses are turned out per owners instructions as weather permits. Horses are blanketed as needed in the winter, and trailer parking is available for boarders. Additional boarding options are self-care and pasture board.
